Lime Application Services
New England is prone to having acidic soil and acid rain, combined with salt on the roads from winter these factors can lower the PH levels of your soil. Low PH levels reduce the available nutrients in the soil. Many of which are crucial to keeping your lawn healthy by helping the grass to prevent disease, drought, and resist other stressors. Lime applications help to remedy low PH levels. Primarily done in spring and fall our technicians can take a quick PH reading of your soil to determine if you need an application and how much lime may be needed.
We recommend at least one lime application a year for all lawns to keep PH levels from falling from their current place. If your lawn is not responding to other applications (Fertilizer, weed control,etc) Low PH could be your problem. We also offer a Soil Testing which offers an in depth breakdown of your nutrients and can help pinpoint your exact soil nutrient needs.
